ABOUT THE GEMSTONES

Amethyst - According to Greek mythology, Amethyst originated from a nymph named Amethystos who was transformed into a clear or white stone by the goddess Artemis to protect her chastity from the god Dionysus. When Dionysus accidentally or deliberately poured wine over the stone, it turned purple. Due to its association with royalty and power, amethyst was commonly used to adorn the robes and crowns of monarchs. Amethyst is the birthstone for February and is believed to prevent drunkenness and clarify mental acuity. It has also been used for spiritual balance and to relieve insomnia, sugar imbalances, and headaches.

Cat's Eye  - Chrysoberyl was discovered in 1789 and is known as the original cat's eye gem. Only chrysoberyl can be traded as "cat's eye." Cat's eye quartz has been used for thousands of years and is believed to bring good fortune. It is also thought to have strong metaphysical powers, such as warding off evil, promoting wealth and prosperity, and aiding in various physical and mental conditions. It is believed to enhance intuition, concentration, and psychic abilities.

GarnetGarnet's name comes from the Latin granatum, meaning pomegranate seed due to its deep red color resembling the fruit's juicy seeds. In ancient times, garnets were believed to light up the night and protect travelers from nightmares and accidents. Vikings and Anglo-Saxons considered garnets as a stone that improved their fighting prowess. Garnets were also believed to guard against poison, worn by crusaders to find their way home, and protect against night-wandering vampires. In Victorian times, garnets were used in engagement rings and to symbolize fidelity in love. Garnet is associated with quick return to separated love, fertility, and feminine life force. It's commonly gifted to travelers to aid in the healing of broken bonds of love and believed to attract success in business.

Labradorite -  Named after Labrador in Canada, Labradorite is a highly sought-after stone for jewelry making. It is also found in Mexico, Russia, and Finland. Inuit legend calls labradorite a "fire stone," and it was once used for medicinal purposes. Labradorite is known for its spiritual properties, such as protecting against negativity, enhancing inner strength, and stimulating the throat chakra. It is also considered a stone of transformation and can aid in healing

Lapis LazuliLapis lazuli, a vibrant blue stone prized for its beauty and mystical properties, was favored for thousands of years by ancient civilizations. Its name, meaning "blue stone," has been associated with the divine and was believed to have powerful protective properties in ancient Egypt. Lapis lazuli was a symbol of power and royalty, favored by rulers such as Cleopatra and Alexander the Great. It is still highly sought after today for its deep blue color and believed healing properties, including promoting inner peace and enhancing intuition. Lapis lazuli is a stone of beauty, power, and spiritual insight that has captured imaginations throughout history.

Pink Tourmaline  - Aso known as rubellite, is said to have a calming energy that helps to ease stress and anxiety. In ancient times, it was believed that tourmaline had the power to protect against negative energy and promote emotional stability. Pink tourmaline is often given as a gift to express feelings of love and affection. It is also known to help enhance compassion, empathy, and kindness towards oneself and others.

In addition to its emotional benefits, pink tourmaline is also believed to have physical healing properties. It is said to support the immune system, stimulate circulation, and aid in the treatment of heart and lung disorders.

This gemstone is associated with the heart chakra, which is responsible for promoting love, healing, and balance in one's life. Wearing a pink tourmaline can help to activate and balance the heart chakra, leading to a more positive outlook on life and increased feelings of love and connection with others.
