Stanley is a Grumpy Wet Owl.
The root cause of his grumpiness isn't that he is wet (which would be a reasonable thing for you to think...) he is really grumpy because he believes that people don't listen to him, that his opinion doesn't matter and that people think he has nothing of value to offer.
None of these things are true about Stanley and he is beginning to see this, but it is a process.
