The Creative Genius Podcast - On October 15, 2021, Kate launched The Creative Genius Podcast - a powerful podcast intended to help people everywhere uncover and unleash their inner Creative Genius’. CEO Kate Shepherd interviews artists and creators from all over the world, finding out how they got out of their own way to create success beyond their wildest imaginations.
Morning Moon Nature Jewelry - Beautiful handmade nature jewelry. After years of selling in person at art markets, Kate has taken her wildly successful jewelry line online.
With the support of a Digital Skills for Youth grant, we are delighted to be in a position to offer the right person a chance to leverage their skill sets in a supportive, creative, inspiring and fun atmosphere. We are actively looking for an intern to join our Digital Content Creation team reporting directly to the owner and CEO, Kate Shepherd.
This role will be starting no later than November 3rd. And will take place at our North Vancouver Studios with some capacity to work remotely, once cadence has been established.
The main project will be to create compelling digital content to build and grow these two divisions of Morning Moon Studios.
The right candidate:
-must be under 30 years of age (as per grant requirements)
-a resident of British Columbia
-is able to work independently on a range of digital based tasks
-has great organizational/multi-tasking skills
-has the ability to allocate their time effectively
-is kind, curious and creative.
-is a clear communicator and likes to feel inspired
- generating compelling and useful clips from video and audio recordings interviews and creating a library of compelling video clips and audio soundbytes
-generating beautiful and compelling slideshows from existing photography to use in digital marketing campaigns
-batch generating social media graphics to support both businesses
-uploading pins, instagram posts, stories to tailwind
-working with Kate to create a schedule of digital content (blog posts, social media posts and e-newsletters)
-using copy and images provided to them to create newsletters for both arms of the business
Video and audio editing skills (Audacity, imovie)
Graphics creation skills (Canva, Photoshop)
Social Media (instagram, facebook, pinterest, tailwind)
